Amy’s Kitchen – Changing the World One Meal at a Time

Amy’s KitchenAmy’s Kitchen was founded with one goal in mind: to create healthy organic and vegan foods that taste great. The idea for this came to Rachel and Andy Berliner when Rachel was pregnant and Andy couldn’t find any suitable organic ready-made meals for her. To overcome this problem, they began making their own foods and their first dish was a hearty potpie. The pies were so good that they began to sell them and eventually started an entire business dedicated to serving organic and vegan ready-made meals.

A Favorite Among Vegan Shoppers

One of the main reasons that Amy’s is so popular among vegans is that not only do they meet the standard vegan dietary requirements, but they also taste amazing and offer a large variety of options. You can get vegan pizza, organic macaroni and cheese, and even organic burritos. No GMOs are used because Amy’s sticks to only the highest quality ingredients. Since the business is privately owned, there is no pressure to bow to corporate shareholder interests which would lead to their products being produced cheaply for maximum profit.

Protecting the Environment

In addition to serving the best vegan and organic ready-to-eat meals around, Amy’s Kitchen is also serious about protecting the environment. For one thing, they are dedicated to making all of their materials compostable or recyclable. This will help create minimum waste and is a good option for environmentally conscious consumers.

On top of this, Amy’s Kitchen is also taking on a renewable energy deal. This deal will power nearly 30% of their operations and is part of a larger plan by Walmart to remove a gigaton of emissions by the year 2030.

Amy’s KitchenBuilding a Brighter Future

Amy’s is doing well for itself and the environment. Their business has nowhere to go but up as they help people to get the vegan and organic foods they need while at the same time keeping our planet clean.
