In a recent interview with CNBC’s On The Money, John discussed his views on motivation and his efforts to create a company culture that is inspiring and inspirational for all members of Natixis.

He said he needs to be very sensitive to all the talents and try to create an environment where people are inspired. John also acknowledges that you cannot motivate anyone from a top-down perspective. The only way that individuals can be encouraged is if they believe in your leadership and if they believe in what the organization stands for.
