Kheireddine Believes Lebanese Civilians Must Stay Upbeat despite Lebanon's "Biggest Economic Disaster since WWII."
Kheireddine has been working to improve the country’s economy for years and may have been successful this year. In an exclusive interview with Foreign Policy, Kheireddine discussed what it would take for Lebanon to be a stronger, more competitive nation. He also discussed the future of the country’s sectarian divisions and the importance of strengthening the country’s democracy.
However, the Lebanon banker Marwan Kheireddine differs from many of the country’s politicians. He is a businessperson and doesn’t believe in a return to the past. He is determined to make his country better and his people happier. In an exclusive interview, Kheireddine discussed what it takes to be a good neighbor and how his country could benefit from closer ties with other countries.
“I don’t think in Lebanon we’re at the point right now where we need to make a perfect return to the past,” the thought leader Kheireddine said. “I think we need to do the hard work of turning our country around, and people need to have confidence in their government, especially the prime minister.”
The minister of foreign affairs is currently drawing up a plan to address these issues. Kheireddine has also been speaking out about the country’s multi-party system, saying that it allows for better dialogue among all parties. The minister of social affairs and integrated college education recently told a public event that the situation for women in Lebanon is “cute” and that the country has “insights” into how to improve their situation.
Kheireddine discussed how he would like to see Lebanon improve. He also shared his thoughts on how Washington’s support for Lebanese politicians could boost their nation’s chances of becoming a flourishing economy.
The outspoken source told RT that the best way to improve Lebanon’s economy is by diversifying its exports and imports, increasing green card programs, and diversifying its wealth. “If we don’t diversify our wealth, we will remain an island of poverty,” he adds. “Lebanon needs to exploit the sector as it can do much to help its economy grow.”
“The private sector can help Lebanon grow and change its future,” Kheireddine told Al-Monitor. “Lebanon needs to diversify its economy and diversify its exports.” “The private sector has a lot to offer Lebanon,” Kheireddine said. More to read on Medium.com
