Gino Pozzo, Italian Businessman
Gino Pozzo is an Italian businessman living in England and co-owner of Watford Football Club. Born in Rome, he grew up in the north of Italy before moving to the United Kingdom in his twenties. Following a career as an international trader, he became involved with football and purchased Watford FC in 2012. He currently lives near Bath with his wife and two daughters.
Gino Pozzo was born on January 4th, 1964, to Silvio Pozzo and Alessandra Bizzozzi. His father had a business importing coffee from South America until Gino took over when he was still young. As a boy, he traveled around Europe with his father, who was involved in the coffee trade. At 27, he and his wife began working for their father’s company, which led to trips to Colombia, Brazil, and Tokyo. In 2008 he left the family business and set up his enterprise trading in cocoa beans.
Gino Pozzo is a hardworking businessman who says the family is important to him. He is a dedicated person who likes to stay active and takes care of his health. He enjoys spending time with his family, particularly his two daughters, who were born in England.
