Ghanaian Journalists Defend QNET Amid Scam Allegations

In recent months, QNET has become a focal point in discussions about direct selling in West Africa, with allegations of scams casting a shadow over its operations. However, Ghanaian journalists who have engaged with the company argue for its credibility.

QNET, a global wellness and lifestyle company, has faced accusations linked to scams due to the misuse of its brand by rogue actors. Despite these claims, journalists from major Ghanaian media outlets recently participated in a webinar to discuss QNET’s authenticity and the quality of its products.

Samuel Bio, Night Editor for the Daily Graphic, emphasized that QNET’s products, especially their Homepure line, are of top-notch quality and meet international standards. He expressed confidence in the company’s offerings, highlighting the global certifications that some of QNET’s products hold.

A senior journalist from Ghanaweb, who visited QNET’s headquarters and attended their annual VCON event in Malaysia, shared his insights. He described the event as a gathering of over 8,000 people, celebrating the direct selling industry and exchanging knowledge. He had the opportunity to directly interact with QNET’s corporate leaders, further dispelling any doubts about the company’s operations being a scam.

Naana Quartey, QNET’s Senior Legal Counsel for sub-Saharan Africa, noted that the company is actively working to combat misrepresentation. Through initiatives like the “QNET Against Scams” campaign, the company seeks to educate the public and media on its legitimate business model and help identify fraudulent activities misusing its brand.

while QNET continues to be embroiled in scam allegations, the testimonials from Ghanaian journalists offer a different perspective. Their experiences suggest that QNET is a legitimate enterprise committed to providing quality products and maintaining transparency in its dealings.
